March Into Spring Event & Chili Cook-off in Ahwatukee

Weekend of March 9 & 10

Ahwatukee had a busy weekend not only was the Chili Cook-off a huge was a success. The 15th Annual Chili Cook-Off Festival was held at Ahwatukee Park, 4700 E. Warner Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85044. Chili Cooks from all over the United States gathered to complete in Red Chili, Chili Verde, Homestyle Chili, and Vegetarian Chili. The 1st place winner in each category will qualify to cook at the International Chili Society World Championships in October. A live band performed on Saturday afternoon and a wide variety of food, beer, and wine was available on Saturday and Sunday.

Also, the March Into Spring Event was held at Dream Dinners Ahwatukee at 3820 E Ray Rd Plaza. Plaza merchants including the new Fred Astaire Dance Studio there was crafts, and vendors like Pawsitive Impressions, Cuties Lemonade  and Buzzed Goat Coffee.
